Part One-The importance of group work (500 words) (50%): • Provide two-three reasons why group work is important in youth work practice (i.e. working as a team and/or group work with young people). • You must support your information with at least two academic youth work authors and reference correctly (failure to reference may result in an automatic fail). • You must refer to the National Occupational Standards for Youth Work (and reference this correctly – see authored sources) Part Two-Reflective Summary (500 words) (50%): • Write a reflective summary based on your experience of group work within your own group work project (according to the three criteria in the original assignment guidance). Maximum Word Length: 1,000 words Worth 30% of your final module mark • You must follow the above instructions or risk failing the assignment. (Please note, an introduction and conclusion are not needed – focus on the above instruction). • You must be consistent in your writing format and structure and apply good grammar and punctuation throughout.
