Tableau Expert / Data Scientist

DATA ANALYST & VISUALIZATION EXPERT (Read all content before expressing your interest and giving a price) We require a driven and highly competent analyst who is engaged in machine learning, data visualization and predictive analytics projects for global clients. You will be working directly with an Australia’s Business Intelligence Consulting firm that consults globally. Work as a visualization expert with a consulting start-up. Design and develop visual reporting solutions/ dashboards that help clients understand the data and act. Turn large, complex abstract data sets into appealing, interactive, and engaging visualizations to clearly explain the results of analyses. Establish direct connections to data sources, and perform data mapping exercises. Work with clients to leverage visualization techniques more broadly. You will be comfortable working on your own in a remote working environment. This position reports directly to the Australian executive team. Experience & Qualification Requirements Excellent written and spoken English essential. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an analytical environment, including demonstrable data, analytics, reporting, visualization and problem solving skills. 3+ years’ experience working with Tableau software, up to date on the latest version and product capabilities, familiarity with Tableau’s JavaScript API a plus. Experience with the development of Tableau desktop/ server reports and dashboards, and creation of Tableau data extracts. Can use software such as questionpro to generate operations reports that feed into tableau visualization reporting. Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, SQL Server, My SQL and/or MS Access a plus BA or BSc degree, 3+ years’ experience We require a consultant who is flexible, innovative, willing to grow with our business, we are a start up so we need a long term partner to help us get up and running, write business plan with us, fill in data sets, present data, provide guidance
