We need to have the file configured to work in webshopapps shipping extension in magento. We have the majority of the UK which is a free shipping zone, certain UK postcodes where there will be a charge and othe EU countries where there will be a charge. Our site installed an extension - it is Webshopapps Matrix Rates. Currently, the shipping price is calculated by the number i set in product editing page - Weight. And I set the shipping method is DHL in the extension. The problem is: some of our products are very light (the weight is light), but volume is large, for example, if I put a number 100 as the weight for a product, shipping price is calculated by the number 100, the result is $10 by DHL. Now, a buyer need the shipping method is EMS (Not DHL), but EMS shipping price is calculated by volume (not weight), the product weight is 100, but volume is reached 200, this means EMS price should be calculated by 200 now, not 100 any more. Our website has issues with updating products and shipping extensions. We are on a VPS server with Dreamhost for this site. I am not sure what access you need or what we can get for this to help complete the tasks. The site is running the community version 1.7.0.2 of Magento. Site has webshopapps. Our issues with products is that we constantly have to run the reindexing and cache management when adding new items. Was thinking a cron job but wondering if there is more of an issue. As for shipping. We are having issues connecting to the USPS system and really need help. We are unable to use them at all as it won't link up on the site. We have emails to/from them with more info on the matter.
