<Technology Description>
This technology relates to a temperature control system for a vehicle having an engine. Specifically, the temperature control system has a coolant circuit including a heater core, an engine, and a communication path for communicating the coolant circuit and the engine. The coolant heated by the engine flows via the communication path and the coolant circuit to the heater core, and thereby the vehicle compartment can be heated by the heater core.
One of the problems in the temperature control system that can be anticipated when heating the compartment by the heated coolant flowing into the heater core, the cold coolant, which was in the communication path, first flows into the heater core, and therefore the compartment cannot be heated by the heater core.
To solve this problem, in this technology, when heating the compartment by the heated coolant flowing into the heater core, the coolant first flows through the engine, the communication path and the coolant circuit without flowing into the heater core, and after the hot coolant has flown through the communication path, the coolant flows through them so as to flowing through the heater core. As a result, the cold coolant is prohibited to flowing into the heater core. Please search for this technology in this contest.
