Magento Site Updates for Ecommerce

Unfortunately we wanted to avoid this situation, but we have to let people know the type of freelancer they would be working with. I would like to preface this by saying we paid 450.00 up front to this company and released the milestone without ever seeing any work, and we also paid 300.00 more than the highest bid as requested. We had some questions about the work provided and we felt that the company did not complete the work we requested. The company was bad at communication. The company felt since we were not happy we would not pay, and they quit on the spot after taking our funds. Before we had a chance to change all of our website passwords, the company went in and deleted our website, which we had restored by the hosting company. Very unprofessional and slimey.
