Unlike most architects, I started my experience with three years of commercial and residential construction. My hands-on knowledge of building materials and methods has provided the foundation for my continued success. While obtaining my Masters degree in San Diego, I was awarded the American Institute of Architecture Gold Medal by the Henry Adams Fund.
While working for other architectural firms, I took personal responsibility for $100 million worth of construction as a project manager. During this same time period, I assisted other architects to complete their projects on time and under budget.
I am best known for working closely with building officials to expedite the time required to obtain building permits.
I have also proven successful while coordinating the desires of clients with the more technical work of several engineering consultants.
