Technology and systems are second nature to me, and I’ve spent my career delivering business solutions via technology. As an IT Director and Solutions Consultant, one of my distinguishing qualities is my ability to connect with non-technical clients and speak to them in a simplified manner so they are clear on the value they are getting for the investment they are making. This capability has helped me to revitalize and retain accounts that were almost lost because of dissatisfaction and clients not feeling heard. I have guided the strategic direction for technology in many companies and successfully led multiple small, medium and large-scale projects. As a collaborative leader, I work effectively with project stakeholders including high level executives to ensure projects are completed on time within budget, and according to client and company goals and requirements. I’m also skilled in directing teams to successfully design, develop and implement small, medium and large-scale software programs and systems upgrades. By building, mentoring, and overseeing high-performing project teams, I deliver solutions that positively impact a company’s bottom line. A creative problem solver, I’m able to quickly get to the source of technological problems and develop solutions and systems improvements. One of my strengths is designing and overseeing the development of ERP/CRM systems that boost productivity and reduce operational costs. To date, I’ve overseen the development and implementation of approximately 12 key systems with along with multiple smaller projects. I’ve served clients at the both the local, national and international levels, having developed systems application for clients in North & South America, Asia and Europe. One of the applications I oversaw was the first international Mobile QC App for the sportwear and accessories manufacturer, Oakley, Inc. In addition to English, I am fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. I also earned an MBA.
