I started my journey as a RoR developer in 2013 and then transitioned into Elixir development in 2017. I co-founded Aviabird as CTO, a software consulting firm in 2016. I am enthusiastic about open-source. I have contributed to 3 major open source projects as tech lead with over 2500 github stars. One of them is a front-end ecommerce framework written in Angular + Typescript. It has over 1600 Github stars. I am the project lead and maintainer for the project. I love to write maintainable and extensible code with a strong focus on efficiency. In 2019, I co-founded a SaaS ATS product in HR Tech - Aviahire. I built and led the service from the ground up from design, planning to owning core features from development to deployments. I have contributed to open source, for which I have constantly engaged with the community leaders and posted on the forum. AngularSpree - Open source frontend ecommerce framework. Has more than 1600 github stars. Gringotts - open source payments library in elixir. I led the project and got community appreciation for it. Jose Valim and others took to the conversation to give feedback and suggestions on how to make it better. I am proud of the work we did with gringotts. Aviacommerce - open source e-commerce framework. I contributed in architecture and built the amazon grade faceted search for the framework. This is by far the most complete open-source ecommerce implementation in elixir to date. I love taking ownership of my work.
