A requirements specification language, which is specifically tailored to authoring embedded systems requirements. It is a typed language, using embedded system concepts. The benefits of using this language are: 1. Reduces ambiguity, 2. Improves comprehensibility, and 3. Generates templates for recurring specification patterns The language is implemented in the xText framework, which allows grammar specification in xText, and auto-generation of a runtime environment (which consists the lexer, parser, validation program, etc.) and an initial editor for the language. The ReSA editor is available as a standalone and as a plugin to EATOP, an EAST-ADL modeling eclipse IDE.

TinyRTOS is a mini real-time operating system, which runs on the AVR32 platform. It is developed as a result of a course project for the Intelligent Embedded Systems master program. The OS supports the basic features needed to develop real-time applications. The features consist of: 1. Real-time tasks management, e.g., task creation/deletion, suspend/resume 2. Real-time scheduler based on Fixed Priority Policy, 3. Semaphore (resource sharing) based on Priority Ceiling Protocol (PCP), 4. Internal queue management for tasks states: Delay, Ready, Blocking queues 5. Message passing using queue implementation 6. Timer functions - relative and absolute delays The project is developed as a team with additional two students, where my contribution was mainly on the scheduler, semaphore and message passing functionalities. The project required a system design, coding and testing, with deliverable such as system documentation, APIs for application users, and the source code, developed in C.

I worked on the evaluation of TCP/IP network evaluation on the visualized multi-core platform for applications in real time systems. These evaluations focus on the overhead of Xen hypervisor on the host OS in the computation and communication over nodes distributed on a local network and on single host. I worked with Linux, Yocto (Linux OS builder for embedded systems). I used Socket programming in the C language to develop the network performance measurement tool.
