Resident in sunny Brisbane, qualified in proofreading and copy editing (Publishers' Training Company, UK; College of Media and Publishing, UK). I hold an Honours degree in Linguistics with Communication Studies which I completed in the UK (part time) while working at the Royal Opera House. I'm also a qualified teacher with experience from beginners to IELTS level, young people as well as adults, having taught in the UK, Mexico and New Zealand. My students have been from a wide range of coutries including China, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, France and Turkey. I have traveled widely throughout my life including an adventuresome Trans-Siberian trip (Moscow to Beijing) in the 90s and most recently a worldwide tour which allowed to me to visit some former students. Unlike some freelancers here, I do the work myself and ensure that communication is direct and clear; ensuring you are 100% satisfied is my number 1 priority.
