We are working on HPC Project where we are managing jobs. And working as a Linux admin ..  Maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.  Monitor Linux & Windows Server for CPU utilization, Memory Utilization and Disk Utilization for performance monitoring.  Creating user, group and organization unit and applies policies over them.  Knowledge of RPM & YUM  Expertise on configuring & troubleshooting Windows 2008/2003 and Linux production server and operating system.  Installation and configuration of Linux operating system 6, 7 or latest version.  Administration: rpm Server, Yum server  Administer and configure various FS like Ext3/4, XFS.  Logging a Hardware Calls for any Network Hardware failures.  Good hands-on experience in Linux Administration.  Storage and File system - Good understanding in File systems and LVM management.  Immediate logging tickets/escalations with proper case notes and forward to concern team as per customer’s request/complaint.  Ensure that an accurate shift handover happens to the next shift.  Coordinate with all the technical team to assist in providing accurate & timely updates to the internal & external customers till issue resolution.  Handover any incomplete tasks, open alerts and outages to the next shift.  Discuss operational challenges and constraints in team meeting and with the management to ensure timely resolution.  Installing and configuring new servers based on requirements.  Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to think independently  Make cordial relationship between Customer and Engineer and delivered service at customer site ASAP.
