I have trained as a Mechanical Engineer. I did my BS at the Politecnico di Milano and then an MS in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After MIT I decided to focus more on design and I took an MA at the Royal College of Art in Product Design. I worked at the Sloan Automotive Lab at MIT for three years, focusing piston's skirt design. Following I joined Apple in Cupertino as Produce Designer Engineer, in the department of Accessories for iPhone and iPad. I then worked as a Creative Technologist at PARTY in New York. I have excellent experience in programming in many different languages (C++, Matlab, JS, HTML, PHP, Python) for a various range application such as physical modeling, mechanical simulation, visual graphics as well as web development, web applications and databases. I also have many years of experience in design engineering, working in the automotive industry and on a few hardware products, from prototype stage through DFM and manufacturing.
