- Currently on a break - I am a proofreader - Last Word Proofreading - and author of sci-fi novels, noir thrillers, and short stories. I have plenty of experience proofreading work written by people speaking English as a second language and work translated into English, so I have become adept at knowing what kinds of specific mistakes to look for in these cases. I am happy to proofread almost anything, but my main experience is in fiction and non-fiction books, articles, websites, and some student papers. I am trained in proofreading to either US- or British-English, so just say which. I have been a 3D modeller, web designer, blogger, and had a brief stint in a computer game studio doing QA for one game and writing background and lore for another. As well as fiction, I currently write a handful of business articles a week for a regular client assisting startups in the UK.
