ELEGMEN is a company that provides waiter-hiring services. The client wanted a logo that captures the ideas and values of the company that raises the Polish service market standards. Company, that knows its value and potential. The logo had to reflect the care for both the clients and the employees. ELEGMEN had to be presented as a professional company of the highest service standards.

I designed a logo that consists of a signet (a pictogram of ecru bow tie) and a logotype. The logotype uses sans-serif font of clear, slender shapes. It's both elegant and modern, emphasizing the desired brand characteristics. Lower case letters gives the impression of lightness and expression. Along with the symbol of the bow tie, they're a salute to the client - a question "How can we serve you?". The ecru (French for "raw") color used in the sign symbolizes the strict observance of culture and the highest quality of service
ELEGMEN - corporate identity
FABLO is an intelligent semantic product search engine that provides pertinent search in polish product description databases. This was quite a tricky design challenge as the vision of the project and the project itself was developing very rapidly so constant changes were inevitable...

...but that's why the final results are so satisfying - fresh corporate identity design that consists of both: a logo and a cool, a little bit cartoon-style mascot. There was a very good reason behind the decision to make the dog a Pointer. It's a very intelligent and loyal breed that requires also an extraordinarily intelligent owner who can understand its characteristics and values. Pointers are usually used as hunting dogs but, contrary to popular belief, they are very versatile.
Fablo - corporate identity
Proseed is a Polish e-magazine focusing on start-ups and technology. I was working with that project and its team from the beginning till issue #13, providing design, concepts, DTP and the rest of the things required in the graphic scope of the project. For every issue, there was always a lot of work to do - I was working full time to meet the deadlines and reader's expectations, and to constantly improve the overall effect.

Frankly speaking, this was one of the most satisfying projects to create - the one that really shines out and fully supports the chosen ideology and vision. What makes Proseed stand out is the well thought out usage of white spaces which is really an essential part of the content presentation in this case. The magazine is very clear and neat which makes it extra comfortable to read. At the same time, it's fully optimized for use on mobile devices.

Chopinium.pl was a platform dedicated to change the image of Frederic Chopin. It consisted of several competitions on different areas of art - i.e. comics, stickers, viral movies, poetry and posters. I was asked to design a series of albums for all the commissions that has been made during the contests.

I prepared five different albums total. I designed them in variety of sizes - to achieve the best presentation form of the work submitted for each of the contests. The albums had to be handy and easy to read. To make the layout more consistent, pages are organized in a manner where the left one usually consists of an image with related text on the opposite page. Each album has its own distinct style. For example, in the case of the sticker art album, a little bit of "street" was added by simply using a wall photo texture below the stickers. That way it looked still clear but was more interesting and had closer relation to the topic.

Chopinium albums design
I always wanted to illustrate a character that could function as a company mascot. And it happened - I was asked to design a character for a company that organizes Lego-based workshops for kids. In this case the illustration had to represent a robot. It had to look a little bit like a toy but without that childish impression. I was advised to inspire myself with the cast of the Toy Story movies.

I started by making some quick concept sketches to present different ideas of how the character could look like. The first feedback I received was to design something more bad-ass looking, something more confident. So instead of drawing all those "hello-hug-me" sweeties I drawn a real hero in shiny white armor. The colors and head shape also refers to the company logo which adds a nice touch to the overall effect.
RoboTeam mascot illustration
For Facebook fanpage and promo campaign, I was asked to draw additional illustrations of a mascot created for EU-funded project implemented by Gdansk University - Assistant Fur. Assistant illustrations that was already prepared for GU consisted of poses that didn't match the needs of this particular project. It was necessary to draw new ones, based on the original concept.

Basing on the appearance of the character from the supplied sketches, I drew some brand new illustrations. The first one on the left refers to the initial promo concept which main tag line was "After graduation I don't want to sell fries". The rest was designed as a new variant promoting GU project on Facebook.

Spent over a year (started while formaly being a KINGS employee) learning about DTP, photo retouch, print design and, as a one-man design army, successfully publishing fourteen monthly issues. As job became a routine, realized that I need something more to develop and challange myself. Resigned, founded Creo Ignis. Started being happy.
