Seeking a Web Developer for updating and supporting the coding, design and layout of a website according to our Company’s specifications. As the role takes into consideration user experience and function, a certain level of both graphic design and computer programming is necessary.

The successful candidate a will be awarded long term maintenance contracts for multiple websites, and be given priority for future development projects.

Web Developer duties and responsibilities of the job

• Writing efficient code

• Creating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices

• Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website

• Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within a time frame

• Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation

• Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down

• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built

• Managing a team might also be part of the job role

Web Developer job qualifications and requirements

• Drupal

• HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Server architecture

• Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET

• Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracl

• Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience

• Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals

• Strong communication skills in English

Web Developer Agreement

1. Services

The Consultant shall perform the Website development services outlined following:

• Services and features

• Software modules and related programming

• Refining or altering information architecture

• Modifying graphic elements

• Diagnosing and rectifying performance problems

• Enhance site overall functionality

These services will be performed in an efficient, competent, timely and professional manner.

The Consultant reserves the right to amend or vary these services depending on the support tasks requested by the Company, or, as may be agreed between the parties from time to time. In the event that the volume of work increases as objectively determined by reference to hourly rates, the Consultant shall advise the Company prior to commencing the new services.

2. Point of Contact

3. Compensation

In exchange for the described services performed, the Consultant shall receive progressive payments for each task completed for a total of $2200.00 CND

b. Create an internal currency system for transactional functionality with Events

4. Membership Modifications ($200)

The first day of financial accounting will begin after a task has been completed, and has been verified by the Company. Additional extras discovered during development while diagnosing and rectifying performance problems, will need to be submitted as a Change Request (7) for mutual review and agreement with each party.
