Adaptable Thumbnail Gallery Page

I want a single page built for an adult site that will display 12 thumbnail images that link to a gallery of the pictures. The page needs to be easily editable to change the content images, description of the content and background colour of the page. I would like the page to be scale-able to fit on any size screen and also display well on mobile devices.
A rough version in my own hashed-together html efforts is here (caution - contains adult images!):
