Hello,

We are promotional gifts agency starting build our first magento ce project, focussing business customers, institutions and clubs.

we already split up the complete project into several parts / milestones. Today, we are looking for one major part of project:

"instant quote calculator"

We are currently looking for qualified developers who can build the following magento custom feature for us:

1) Items to be caluated [login to view URL]

We have one item which can be calculated incl. decoration, e.g. "ballpen" or "mug" or "t-shirt" etc..

2) Branding Method

There are different decoration/branding methods fo this items which we would -at least one of them- need to assign to this item: "screenprint", "laser engraving", "pad printing", "doming" etc..

2.1) Branding position

Depending on the item, there can be different positions where a branding can be placed: e.g. for a "ballpen", it can be decorated at "Barrel" or "Clip"

3) Define Number of Colors

Subsequently, every branding method has its own options:

"pad printing": "1 color", "2 color", "3 color", "4 color"

"laser engraving": no color selection technical possible for this branding method

4) Origination cost & additional charges and fees

For every branding method, we have to assign one ore more fixed origination cost: "Screen charges", "Tooling Charges", "Film charges", or specific fees, charge to be defined for this branding method. etc..

In order to make it not too easy, you should know that price structures of above mentioned can differ:

1) Items mostly have tier prieces

e.g. 100 pcs USD 4.- / 400 pcs USD 3.- / 1000 pcs USD 2.-

2) Branding methods have tier prices too,but can have different levels

e.g. 100 1-color-prints: USD 0,40 / 500 1-color-prints USD 0,30 / 1.000 1-color-prints USD 0,20

3) Originiation cost are mostly fixed cost:

- Cost per color USD 50.-

4) Additional charges / cost which may added indvidually are also mostly fixed cost:

- Cost for production sample

Your part:

1) Give advice how to organise backend to achieve best results (attributes, options, etc)

2) Show proven concept for testing on your testing environment

3) Basic Frontend design but coded well in order to optically implement seamless in our final store layout/design

4) Safe for magento core updates

5) Implement code in our environment.

We would appreciate if serious bidders would quote for this.

This is our first project we try to outsource, and we have many parts of the complete project to do, so this could be also long-term four you.

the budget mentioned in this RFQ is experimental. Those bidder who can bring the perfect solution and more than this, we are willing to extend budget if necessary.
