I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows using C or C++.Hello,
I would a small video conferencing/help desk software written in C/C++ language, main requirements are:
1) 1-to-1 video communication between users and support technicians from the web.
2) Use WebRTC technology.
3) Run natively in Windows XP (and Linux in the future), no need for mobile devices support (iOS/Android).
4) Work as a stand-alone application, must not rely on a web browser to work.
5) Server can be any OS, as long as Client works in Windows XP.
I was asked to find or create a custom solution to allow their other company branches to ask for technical support when needed, I work as a developer for a company, but C/C++ it's always been my nemesis and greatest weakness and I don't know how to solve.
It's perfectly fine to use or adapt existing open source solutions as the company don't need to resell or turn it into a commercial product.
