Need an Excel Function for Exponential Decay

I need an excel function to accomplish the following:
I have 3 lists of dates in a spreadsheet (attached to this project).
Each list has an amount of apples listed at the top that need to be distributed to each of the dates in its respective list. All apples must be distributed over the time period.
The rate of distribution should have an exponential rate of decay. Whereas, the most recent date was given the most apples and the last date was given the least.
The function should take into account the following:
The first date in the series should be assigned a number between 25% and 75%. Then, the rest of the apples should be distributed on each day in an exponential decaying fashion, until all apples are distributed.
What I need here is the excel function to accomplish this.
