I am looking for a Python programmer to develop a Python program with the following specific functionality:
1) Bulk-open all excel files in directory an delete imagenes contained on it
2) Save them as same name + "no images"
3) If the case, convert xls to xlsx while saving
4) from the massivity of fields, best effort to identify some of them by a list of rules & criteria (no artificial intelligence needed, just a couple of ""IF"
5) mix-them and create a new excel file mixing all of them
Preferred programming language for the project is Python.
Deliverables:
Code & project
32 bit compilation (or give a class on what to install in my computer and how to create compiled .exe files)
64 bit compilation
The expected timeline for completion of this project will be determined according to the quote provided by the freelancer.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience in data management and CSV, SQL, tables, Excel and scrapping
- Knowledge of GUI development
