Pre-order and notify me functionality + custom pre-order page

Hello,
I require coding for my shopify eCommerce website.
When I have an out of stock product, I want to offer my customers 2 options:
1) Receive an email notification when it's back in stock (using the "Back in stock" app) or
2) Pre-order the product. This functionality needs to be custom coded and I don't want it to impact the "back in stock" app. On the back end I require the following functionality:
2.1 ability to ellect what products can be pre-ordered
2.2 change the date for when products will arrive (set a date that applies to all sku whilst allowing me to change individual sku as necessary)
2.3 appear as "pre-order" in ship station
Once this is done, i'd like a seperate product category page setup to show new designs. Thumbnail will be arranged differently to current setup. There will be a vote button (which will use #1 functionality) and a pre order button (which will use option #2 functionality).
