PHP utility to lookup Facebook/LinkedIn users -- 2

I'm looking for a way to look-up a person by their name and location (and company if possible) on Facebook and/or LinkedIn. If no such person exists in that general location, I want it to return this fact to me. If the person does exist, I'd like any additional information available about this person.
I briefly looked at the Facebook and LinkedIn API's and I don't think this can be done using them. So I think we need some sort of screen scraping solution where it does a search by simulating a web browser and then parses the contents that get returned.
My programming language of choice for this is PHP.
Since this code will need to be integrated into a larger application, ideally I'd want the interface to be two simple functions like this:
some simple PHP functions:
function find_facebook_user($name, $city, $state, $country) {
}
function find_linkedin_user($name, $city, $state, $country) {
}
Each would return False if no match found, or an array of whatever interesting information there is about the person, such as age, etc.
Also, I'm looking for somebody who will be available in the future to fix this when changes are made to the LinkedIn and Facebook user interfaces which cause these functions to break.
