Paypal in Joomla and small php script

I want to take payment via Paypal from my Joomla website. When payment is successful I want to send an instruction to [url removed, login to view] to change the flag of a license from trial to full version. Another option will be to buy a license code from CopyMinder. I have examples of the commands and how to construct them.
Most pages in the website have been created but will need changing/improving.
