Hi,
I have to increase my php_time_limit from 50 to 120 by adding max_execution_time = 120 to PHP.INI.
I have tried through Terminal, but with no luck.

Simple task, what does your script do? It might be hitting a timeout if it's performing socket operations. And there are other timeouts to adjust, too.
