Content Management System (called CMS from here on) which can be used for the administration of all of my websites.
Tehnical Details:
The application will be coded in the PHP programming language with an accompanying MySQL database.
The hosting for running this application must have the following details:
1) Apache Server
2) PHP module
3) MySQL Database.
The hosting will be purchased by me, the client. The installment will be done free by the service provider for the first two websites. Future installs can be made afterwards for a low cost discussed a priori.
Functionality:
The CMS will provide the following features:
1) Templating system - for easy change of design when creating new websites
2) Menu editing system – administration feature that allows the administrator to create his own menus.
3) Article management – allows the admin to handle CRUD (create/read/update/delete) operations on site articles.
4) Category management - allows the admin to handle CRUD operation on article categories.
5) Optional comment system - allows the visitors of the website to post comments on the articles.
6) Add management – allows the administrator to easily set up ads in certain areas of the website.
7) Optional Listing manager – to be used for creating listing of products/services pages, with option to specify "featured listings" which will hold a different design.
8) SEO optimisations – Support for seo friendly urls and independent meta tags.
Design features:
For this project, the Provider will create a design which will be shared by the first two websites, and two different headers, one for each. The design will use the current color scheme and improve on the current design to reflect a more modern layout.
Estimated time for first draft of design – 2 days.
Estimated time for revisitions on the design – 2 days.
Estimated time of completion of entire project – 9 days
Payment will be done in sintallments as follows:
20% - Upon start of the project
20% - Upon Design approval by me, the client (after revisions)
30% - Upon satisfactory completion and functionality of Admin Panel
30% - After satisfactory Front End completion/project end.
