Plugin for Open Cart to Calculate Price based on size

We are upgrading our website to Open Cart to make it easier to update and maintain in the long run. However, OpenCart does not currently give us the ability for customers to get custom prices based on size and type of material. Our website sells printing and tradeshow display items, and many of these items can be custom sizes and the price changes based on the size. We need customers to be able to enter all the specific details of their item and receive a price.

Currently we have 6-7 set sizes with exact prices, but this is very unworkable since most customers will have their own exact size that they want.

On the product item page, a customer needs to have 4 fields - type of material, width, height & quantity. The price needs to adjust depending on what is entered into these fields. There needs to be an ability to set-up a pricing structure that the calculations are based on. As an item gets larger, the cost per square metre will be cheaper. If they order multiple copies of the same item they need to get a cheaper per item price.

There needs to be a simple back-end where we can enter a matrix of basic information such as pricing rates based on total area ranges. For example (these are not the actual rates)

0.4 - 0.75 square metres = $46/Sq.m

0.76 - 1.08 square metres = $40/Sq.m

1.09 - 1.6 square metres = $36/Sq.m etc for up to 10 ranges

The quantity discount field already built into OpenCart may be sufficient to take care of that aspect of the pricing.

We are looking for something simple and cost effective, so it doesn't need to be very fancy.

We are hoping that someone may have already done this exact thing or very similar, or if not has done similar project before and can do this quickly and easily.
