Create HTML5 web editing application based on vb.net standalone app

I want to create an online HTML5 / canvas application based on a standalone vb.net app. I want to duplicate the functionality and put it online.

The purpose of the web application will be to open webpages for html editing, markup the html with microdata, validate the markup (similar to <[url removed, login to view]>), and allow users to share settings.

Applicants must be versed in vb.net to interpret the source and recreate functionality with HTML5, ajax, jquery, javascript, etc.

Please reply with examples of HTML5 applications you have developed.
