Software required to plan stairs, save file, print to scale and allow plan & elevation views. Some sample plan views can be seen on www.stairplan.com. Export facility to a recognised CAD format (DWG, DXF, TCW). Use Metric measurements throughout without the option of imperial. Process: 1. Defaults are entered first time the software is launched and saved. These can be changed anytime through a "default settings" option on the menu bar. Defaults ======== Designer: Max Pitch: Min Headroom: Min Rise: Max Rise: Min Going: Max Going: Landing Dimensions: Scottish (width x length of stair width) or Custom (free entry width x free entry length) Handrail: Corner Posts: Dimensions of corner posts: Max gap between ballusters: Dimensions of Ballusters: 2. User clicks on menu bar item "New" and starts creating the project. 3. User is asked to enter the following information: Customer: Address: Select width of stair: 600 or 800 FFL to FFL (FFL=Finished Floor Level): Dimension of Stair Well (enter 0 if unrestricted): 4. Customer is presented with a grid and graphical options to help design the stair. User can "drag and drop" on to the grid. All items placed on the grid can be rotated 90 degrees. 5. User clicks on "finalise project" and the software automatically calculates if the stair is compliant with the data previously entered and defaults. 6. App displays a clean drawing of the stair in 2D plan view & elevation view, showing landing areas at the top and bottom, and headroom all the way up the stair in a pale shading. 7. User can save file, export it to a recognised CAD format or print it (user selects scale (1:100, 1:50 or 1:20) and paper size (A4 or A3) 8. User has the option to reopen a previously saved file and modify it, or the current file and re finalise it. ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
