I need a backend for admin and the frontend to display data for the database.
it will be a free service so I dont need any pay modules, I may need an escrow feature in the near future but not right now ,,,
it will run on an asp server with php, mysql, ODBC and such ... it runs them all.
the site layout should bo such as a navigation array on the left side or at the to so as I can link to other pages in the site ( ie: contact info, forums and the such) there will be NO advertising or banners so all the space can be used for the main page to include latest postings and news ... the database should link into it's own pages ... this will be used in the US only and as such needs only the lower 48 states and canada provinces listed, the site will be english only - no other language needed.
we will need to be able to sort the loads my city, state and possibly (not required) map them.
guests should be able to see a brief description of postings but not the actual details (like company names, phone numbers or rates) this will be for registered users only.
in the registration part we will collect all the information and an admin will have to approve or disapprove the membership with an email being sent to the member describing the outcome. the admin will also need to have the ability to add 4 feilds of info that cannot be changed by the registrant - only an admin will be able to change it. but regged users should be able to see these and all other fields by clicking that member .
we will need to be able to temp lockout any regged user for failure to comply with our rules ( this should be like a checkbox or something).
a registered member should be able to see and remove listings that they have posted ( they list a load and fill it ....they can remove it from the board)
no need for comments, member to member chat, or anything like that ... there is however a need for the admin(s) to be able to send email to a user or the whole group of users.
there should be two types of registration, 1. people that post the loads. 2. people that are looking for the loads.
Ask your questions quickly as I need this done asap and will pick a programmer in the next few days ... you will have 1 week for a mockup site that we will review and accept or ask for some changes to it ... the colors should be those found on our site [url removed, login to view] .. your site will replace the main page of course.
I have givin you all the knowledge I have, I am open minded to change if it will benefit this project.
