Initiative Overview: Core goal is to bring security logs from across the company into a central data lake & Sentinel (SIEM tool of choice in Azure). This data is primarily machine-generated, so real-time and extremely high-volume.
Role Description: The work is very complex in nature & requires an advanced skillset to design, build, troubleshoot, and support our solutions. This individual will be developing high-volume, real-time big data pipelines for event/log-based data sources that generate millions/billions of events per day. This individual will need to be able to work in a cross-functional team and be able to navigate the various organizations that govern/administer the clients azure environment.
Primary Skillset Requirements: Experience working with large volumes of real-time data streams. VM Scale Sets, Kafka, Eventhub, Logstash, Containers, Log Analytics/Sentinel, Databricks, syslog/UDP, load balancers. Strong networking & security knowledge.
