Windows service MYSQL reference

I have a windows vb.2019 form application that runs a simple insert statement, which works quite fine. I have copied all MYSQL ref-assemblies to one DLL directory, and referenced them from there. This works fine on the desktop application.
I have copied the desktop code 1:1 to my service (same net version and hope that i have same setting X64 etc), and also importet all references from the DLL dir.
When i start the service, and even just want to dim the mysqlconnection, the procedure will not run, it does not catch any err.
If i call the sub with just the [login to view URL] the sub will run and write to log, as soon as I uncomment any MYSQL , it will not even write the logany more.
It seems as if the service does not load the references, I just cannot find anything on this.
