Hi there I'm looking for: A small application for Windows (stand-alone for multiple workstations) to read and adapt step-files of pipes (step-file parser). Analyze them in X, Y, Z coordinates and calculate the distance between bends (DBB), the rotation (POB) and the angle of the bends (DOB). The second input possibility is via excel (CSV) of X, Y, Z, and the radius. And then adapt the data. Including a batch processing. If, needed, allow adapting the radius of bends, without changing the X, Y, Z or vice versa. The mathematical understanding is provided (simple 3D vector geometry), but a basic knowledge of vector geometry is requested. Output-files: -PDF with the data and a small picture/visualization (like the attachment). -step file with the adapted data Units of input and output. X, Y, Z-coordinates: [mm] Radius [mm] Distance/length: [mm] Outer diameter: [mm] Wall-thickness: [mm] Angle/rotation: degree [°] Attachments: -flow chart with the inputs/outputs (without the CSV part) -example of step-input -example of PDF output with the analyzed data -picture of explanation for DBB and DOB -code of the existing app I have already the code for a not very functional app, but I need someone's assistance to solve the problems and make the application run. an example of the outputs are in the zip file: results wrong
