Validate a TOKEN and Decrypt the Payload

I need two iOS functions (should work with the latest Xcode available now that will do the following:

a) Verify that a Token is valid and deliver it’s payload. (JSON Web Tokens - [url removed, login to view])

b) Decrypt the payload (mcrypt - [url removed, login to view])
