Write a HOW TO document on how to set up Analysis Services via HTTP on an internal network and access it remotely with no security risk

Client has Analysis services running in the UK, we need to access it remotely via HTTP. They are concerned about security risks setting up HTTP. Perhaps with SSH connection and make use of port forwarding is more secure than VPN?
