International art magazine, Beautiful Bizarre Magazine is looking for a Graphic Designer to work with the Editor-in-Chief and Head Designer on the design of the quarterly magazine.
The role requires excellent time management skills, the ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure. The right person for this role will have advanced inDesign skills, excellent attention to detail, be a quick learner and have a proactive positive attitude. This individual will have good English skills, their own IT software and hardware, and of course a genuine interest in visual art would be a bonus!
Tasks: Insert images, convert images to CMYK if necessary, insert text, ensuring formatting is correct, export files to PDF for review and proofing, make edits as required, export files for print. This role also creates an active PDF for the digital edition.
The magazine is a quarterly. This role is 2 months part time work each quarter. The role would start 1 June to end July, then a month's break, then again 1 September to end October and so on.
