Layout Update using XML in back-end for cms page to show categories and layered navigation

I would like to use Magento main menu: Content > Pages, select Edit, and in section Design there is a field "Layout Update XML" to update my start page.
My start page should include a number of products from two categories (let's say, id 2 and 3), and there should be a layered navigation on top for these two categories, in a 1-column design. I'm using Magento Luma-theme.
I only expect to get the XML code and will paste it myself.
Please note, I would not like to change any files, only use the back-end "Layout Update XML".
