create html tables from an xcel/txt file

I want to create four tables from an xcel file turned into a .txt file. There are 4 columns in the file that i want to be converted into 4 tables. For the data in each column, every different word is a row in the table. Also, the background of each table row has to be different, the colors come from a list of first letters. Attached are come images that could help clear some things up.
