We are currently in the process of building a travel & information web application to assist snowboarders in their trip planning.
Your mission (should you choose to accept it).. is to implement our multi-device page designs into our application within a 10 week period. This will include:
+ building components; such as reactive filters for search parameters
+ facilitating Server-Side Rendering or Pre-rendering
+ integrating UX functionality with ScalaJs including Hot Reloading
+ creating clean page templates that accurately depict the designs
The application is built in Play Framework using Scala templates ([login to view URL]).
The tech skills required
+ [login to view URL] – a strong knowledge & demonstrative ability
+ Play Framework (would be useful but not necessary if experience in similar frameworks)
+ Integrating [login to view URL] and dependant libraries into current build (in Play Framework)
+ Html (SEO standardised/friendly)
+ CSS (SEO standardised/friendly)
+ SCSS (sass)
Non-tech skills/experience required
+ an advocate of structural simplicity
+ an understanding of the importance of user journeys
+ an ability to accurately follow predefined UI/UX designs
+ can demonstrate necessary skills in previous projects
Personality
+ communication - is easily contactable, able to process the exact needs of the assignment, is proactive in clarifying areas of potential confusion
+ time-keeping/organisation - can break-down the project, accurately (and realistically) assign time estimations, manage work-flow to coincide with project timelines
