A 2D cartoon image design

Hello, we'd like to find a designer to create a cartoon image as our VI (e.g. the logo for our company, the logo for our website and the trademark as well) in China. We are selling baby/children gifts from the America, so we need a true AMERICAN-style cartoon image. We do not need an 3D animation at this point. Maybe later we will develop a Flash animation but for now we will just need some still 2D images. We have some clues for this cartoon image as follows.
Cartoon: a bear
Color:Vibrant harmonious colors.
Gender: boy;
personality: cute, a bit naughty, kind hearted, very smart for most of the time but sometimes be cheated by someone who makes use of his sympathy;
age: unknown, but his IQ is somewhat like a 10 year old boy;
body shape: not chubby but a bit baby fat, because he does not like to have exercises, unless he thinks himself growing too fat.
What he likes: tasting good food, playing creative and lovely toys;
What he does not like: doing housework (he is not a hardworking or diligent kid. He is careless and always leaves everything around)
Other points: he gets easily interested in something and becomes enthusiastic about it but easily gets bored and then gives up. He can do a good job for the things he likes but believes himself cannot do well in things he does not like. He is even a bit stubborn and refuses to do things he does not like. He does not like to be criticized but he will say "sorry" immediately whenever is necessary, however, he never learns from the lessons. He always like to receive compliments.

postures: to fit the personality of the cartoon image
Please use your imagination to creat this cartoon image for us. In the future we might need to develop animation, flash or other graphic designs, so if we get a good design for the current project we will definitely look for more future cooperation!
