The customer service data entry specialist maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. In addition, this role provides marketing support and is responsible for rapid response to incoming calls.
Understands thoroughly the business process, procedures, and practices of keying orders.
Reviews sales orders that are entered into the system by sales reps or customers, confirms the orders and product availability, then passes that information on to the sales rep and/or customer
Communicates with CID Finance and IT Departments to ensure that sales orders and invoices are prepared in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
Communicates with Warehouse and Quality Control Teams about customers’ shipping and handling requirements.
Communicates with the Design and Production Departments about the design specifications conveyed by customers.
Remains up-to-date on product knowledge and the differences between our products and the competitors.
Quickly responds to incoming calls regarding general inquiries, order status, lead generation and issue resolution. (10% of the work day)
Provides support to the Marketing Department by mailing/shipping marketing materials (10% of the work day)
Enters returns/credits into the system (10% of the workday)
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of customer service and data entry experience
High degree of proficiency in Excel required
MUST be fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, speak both)
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
Strong written and verbal communication
High level of attention to detail
