Brief

This project is for the development of an ipad app that features several short videos with a duration of 2-6mins each.

The app will feature a special video each week and also feature categories of questions.

Some feature of the app will be free while the others will need to be unlocked with a yearly subscription fee.

Features

1. Video player

This will play any video clicked on

2. Subscribe

Viewers will have to subscribe to unlock the full features of the app. The first 3 videos in each category will be free but to view the other features, they would need to subscribe.

3. Home

This takes them back to the homepage from any page on the app

4. Back

This button takes you back to the previous page

5. Forward

This takes you to the next page

6. 3 free videos per category

For each category, 3 videos will be free while the others will need to be unlocked

7. Search

Subscribers can search for videos using keywords

8. Share

Subscribers can share the app via email, social networks etc

9. Download

Subscribers can download a video or watch online

10. Video of the week

A new video will be uploaded weekly and can be watched without subscribing

11. Advert

Sponsored ads

12. View all

Lists all available videos

13. Top search

Lists all top searches

14. Related videos

Lists top 10 videos related to the present video being watched

15. Landscape and portrait

The app should toggle landscape or portrait.

16. Alerts

An alert should be sent out whenever a new video is available

17. Post your comments

Subscribers can post comments on videos watched

18. Ask Pastor Chris

Subscribers can post questions they want answered

Development format should allow for extension to other platforms subsequently
