Robot Operating System ROS advice

I currently run a ROS system to control my system using a PID controller. I don't have much ROS experience and I end up running 5 terminal windows on my raspberry pi to make it all work when I only have one command input.
Also, is it possible to plot rostopic data in realtime?
I need this completed ASAP as it is slowing down my testing
