I am requesting a bid for the development of a desktop application to automate certain aspects of building my webpages. I have an existing HTML template that I routinely populate with both the Keyword for that page, plus other data that I populate throughout the page. I have written a detailed specification for what this desktop application should do and have included a sample html page showing the different fields that will be populated. Software may be written in any language that will operate on a Windows 98SE desktop PC. The delivered software must run on Windows 98SE without requiring the purchase of any supporting 3rd party software. The delivered software must be royalty-free and must not infringe the copyright of any third party. While I do not require ownership of the delivered software, successful bidder must grant me an exclusive license to the delivered software in its exact delivered form. Successful bidder will be free to create and distribute derivative works from the software. Payment terms (using ScriptLance Escrow system): 25% after successful demo that meets ALL spec requirements. This demo may be conducted online or via other forum chosen by the bidder before sending the completed software to me. 75% after I receive the software and succesfully test an on-site demonstration that meets ALL spec requirements. Thank you for your clear spec - your static HTML generator project sounds reasonably straightforward to implement in VB6 and can be made to work on all Windows 9x and later systems. Thanks for considering my bid.
