We only work with a company that has many employees in-house that we can select between. Must not be working from home or home office. When replying, please include your SkypeID so we may schedule a video conference and inspect your facilities.
We are a software developer based in California (United States) providing payroll software for over 17 years (payroll processing for over 20 years) looking for 2-3 dedicated, quick-learning individuals who will be responsible for:
1. Providing telephone support to our clients by helping with software installations and basic troubleshooting of software.
- Must have at least basic knowledge of Windows XP,Vista,7,8 environment as well as basic computer networking skills (mapping network drives and creating network shortcuts on the desktop, editing folder permissions on server, etc.)
2. Answering general questions about payroll software (pricing, software features, etc.) on our sales line and help customers install the demo version of the software. Connect to the user's desktop and guide them through the software and explain the features.
- Earn extra in sales commissions for bringing in new clients!
*** It is ok to have a slight accent (and expected), but it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that our support staff speak English well enough that our clients can easily understand what is being said ***
Knowledge in the following areas will increase salary / hourly pay:
Manually calculate and fill out 941, 940, w2 forms
Manually calculate and fill-out CA SUI, STWT type Tax forms
Multi-state tax knowledge a Plus
Manually calculate federal 941/940 and state Tax liabilities and due dates
EFTPS tax processing
E-filing of 941 and W2 forms
Vacation/ Sick Accrual methods
Tips against minimum wage
Garnishments - federal/state/ court
Worker's compensation
This is a long-term full time position with a Payroll Software company servicing Multi-State clients for the last 20 years.
