I need to somehow clone (adding a few new features) a directory on accommodations in my country, similar to [url removed, login to view], with a CMS to control it.
I have all design done, structure done, colors, etc. I even have the programming done for it, but it's giving me a lot of problems and I want to do it from the beginning, but taking into account all forms we've created and the design we have, as well as the site I mention.
Site needs these features:
-We'll have these menus: ‘region' with a sidebar with all cities, when we click on it we'll see all properties in that city. ‘things to do' with sidebar with things to do in the area that updates main content page. ‘things to see', same thing. Contact, reservation, and rest as Niumba.
-The application will concentrate on small regions of my country. So we should be able to create a new site with a new region, and start adding new regions to it and creating a new site.
-Each owner can have more than 1 accommodation on his account.
-Each property will have photos organized in a different way than niumba. Will tell you
-Google maps for each property
-Each accommodation can have different rooms, and prices, and a calendar for pricing on each season.
-Each accommodation can be reserved by person or per day, full accommodation or by rooms
-Owners can sign up and add a new accommodation and modify content: adding description, photos, availability calendar, texts, prices for each room.
-Registration for consists of 5-6 forms (multiple forms), already created
-Availability calendar for owners so that they can sign in and tick which days accommodation is occupied for each of their accommodations and their rooms
-Search for properties with a similar search on [url removed, login to view], with number of homes on each city in each region.
-Feature accommodations as in Niumba
-Google wise and google friendly with URLs as niumba has, not php?id=10?city=21
-FAQ like niumba. This is a simple one.
-Users can sign up and add accommodations as favourites, and manage their reservations (have a history I mean). Just that for now, quite simple.
-Superadmin needs to control accommodations submitted, reservations, users that signed up and edit content from the site, regions. And so on.
First site will have a region with about 20-25 cities, so we need to know how many there are in each region
I need from you:
-Do the programming so that we can have online searches and online reservation with a prepayment of a %
-Availability calendar for each of the accommodations. But the calendar will be different, I would like to have something similar to [url removed, login to view] (check any holiday), with tabular/monthly view for each of the rooms or houses that each owner has.
I'll provide with:
-Design in XHTML (you'll to create some new pages maybe and make some modifications), structure, texts, database of Spanish cities and countries, reservation form, and payment script to integrate, flash map for the region.
Can you please tell me if you can do this? This shouldn't be a big thing for a senior php programmer.
Send me links to your best sites and tell me about your experience and how you can do this and how long it would take. I would need this ready in 3 weeks.
I'm open to ideas on how to implement this. But I need this site done in June. Just want a functional site, design is done, I need someone to implement these functions. There will be more jobs similar to this in the future for you.
VERY IMPORTANT: site has to be Google friendly with URLs as niumba and we need a CMS to create other sites based on other regions, with your help on each installation.
