I need a front and back cover design for a science textbook called Energy Affects Matter. This textbook will be about molecules and how heat changes them (melting, evaporating). I'm looking for something really eye catching. There will need to be two versions of this cover made, one for the teacher's edition and one for the student workbook, but both will incorporate the same artwork. I've attached a couple of covers from my competitors textbooks for reference as to the quality of the work, not the type of picture I want.

Clarification:
The size of the cover is 9 by 12. The cover should include my logo (now in the attachments section). It should have larger words: Energy Affects Matter
Then underneath those word in smaller print: (Utah SEEd Strand 6.2) It should also mention: Teacher's Edition

Responding to the concern raised by DepartmentS. I think I'm okay with the free images being used as long the copyright policies are followed, which would allow for commercial use of the images without attribution or royalties. If the images are from freepik.com the author would need to have a premium account with them. https://profile.freepik.com/payment/getstarted/ If they would be willing to prove that, I think it would be okay. If the pics are from another site, similar policies would need to be followed and proven in order for the work to be accepted.

  As long as you know what it is your paying for. Free pics terms do allow uncredited use provided the user holds a premium account with them. As long as the entrant you chose can demonstrate that to be the case - should you be landed with a copyright infringement notice further down the line - you have at least have indemnification and no further recourse to take issue with Freelancer. Success with your book.

  Basically - you're being fobbed off with web-rips. Though many of these vector elements used in these designs are termed "free" - to actually use them without attribution requires premium membership from the sites offering the designs. Given that nobody using these materials has bothered mentioning that to you that they didn't in fact originate the graphic elements used - you're advised not to touch them until such point those attempting to fob you off with this material prove they have the appropriate rights to use the work. Unless you have proof of that, you can't use any of these elements in a commercially available book. Work entered in a Freelancer contest not actually the work of the contestant is a breach of Freelancer terms. You are well within your rights to report all such instances as you discover to Freelancer. Those of us who actually work for a living urge that you do.
