Hi I am looking for a 5 - 10 second 3D animation to use in a Facebook / Instagram advert and also perhaps as an intro to a YouTube video. The animation involves starting off with a close up of a Covid-19 image, decreasing in size until a tennis player comes into view and hits it - as they would hit a ball with a powerful serve or forehand. There will be a few sentences of text and a logo to add to the winning entry at the end.

    Hi all, once again a big "thank you" to all who submitted entries. Please bear with us while we review all shortlisted submissions; it will take us a little longer than we hoped as we are based in London (which is currently hit particularly bad by the situation). We will be in touch with shortlisted candidates about any tweaks etc. with a view to making a decision over the weekend.

    With regards to your specific submissions, Kevin B, your animations were technically very good and if the prize was for technical merit you would certainly have been shortlisted. The problem was that your character was attempting to play tennis and the tennis technique was entirely wrong. This is also true of another submission but the character in that was clearly not attempting to play tennis and there was an element of humour involved. As we are a tennis academy this is an important consideration.

    Apologies if the brief was not clear enough. It was meant to be open-ended to some extent to allow for creativity, and we are looking for a submission that fits best with OUR intended purpose. This is not a contest to judge the best technical submission or the most skilled animator. The word 3D was used but some artists interpreted this to mean a hybrid of animation and video. Clearly we can only award the prize where there are no copyright issues involved. When we review the shortlist again, if it is established that YouTube videos were used then we obviously cannot accept them.

    We,3d artist are totally confuse what you actually need is. Do you need a pure 3d animation or some animation with people playing tennis cutscene which steal from youtube than add virus effect into it?

    i wish you could reevaluate the rejection of my entry #76. If you liked it technically, I can change everything in the 3D scene to fit the result you are looking for. For example:
    - I saw that in most of the works that you gave 4 stars, the framing of the camera is frontal.
    I can change the camera movement to fit the front frame, among all the other changes that can be adjusted.

    Adjustments are common in the process of creating an animation.

    Anyway, if you reconsider we can work on it
