I need a futuristic and elegant logo for a new non-for-profit non-governmental organization.
The organization name is: Libyan Society for Research and Development (LSRD).
It is a “think tank” organization for conducting public policy research (education, health, economy, development, foreign relations, etc.)
It is not an academic or scientific research organization, so please no chemistry or physics symbols (atoms, beakers, test tubes, microscopes, etc.)
The ideal logo should have a meaningful icon (explicit or abstract) along with the name in Arabic and English, and may also incorporate the English abbreviation (LSRD).
The Arabic and English versions of the name are:

If your graphics software (e.g., AI, does not support Arabic, then copy the following inverted text, it would display in the right order when pasted in your software.

or follow the instructions in the attached file “Instructions for Arabic Text”.
If you want to propose a design before getting into the Arabic part, you may leave a place-holder for the Arabic in your design. Then if the overall design looks ok, we could work on the Arabic later.
If you don’t have good selection of Arabic fronts, I will be happy to provide font files upon request.
Final product must include 2 sets of files, one set for the logo without the text (the graphics part only) and one set for the complete logo (graphics and text). All files should be in vector and bitmap graphic formats along with font files for all used fonts. As a minimum, it should include the following formats: AI, EPS, and PNG.
If you submit multiple distinct designs, and I pick a winner from your submissions or from other freelancers’ submissions, I will consider buying some of the non-winners for a small fraction of the cost of the winning one if you’re willing to sell.

Dear participants,
I have just picked a winner.
Sorry, it took so long to select a winner; firstly, it was not an easy decision since many of your designs were excellent and represented close contenders to the winning one, and secondly, selecting the winner had to go through a tedious voting process by the LSRD members.
I would consider buying some of the second runner-ups (four stars) if the designer will consider selling them for discounted price.

Hi everybody! there are some copied designs submitted by some of the designers and these designs have been awarded 4 stars by the worthy contest holder, Plagiarism is a punishable crime, i may report these entries but i would like to give the designers a chance to voluntarily withdraw their designs so they dont get banned. otherwise i will report their entries with evidence of Copying other designs which may result banning their accounts..

They're not copied. We all know what a COPY is and what similirity is. There's a LOT od SIMILAR designs all over the internet, which means there are NOT copied from each other, just have some similar points
