Résumé du concours

I am looking to get a white-board animation made to be used internally, and to be provided to potential customers. Our business is an IT services company, and the whiteboard animation is to describe the scenario of maintaining and recovering from an IT disaster.

these are some good examples of whiteboard animations;

The basic script of the animation is below;

1. Imagine your workforce are simply a room full of monsters (happy, friendly monsters)
2. The monsters feed on information; emails, data feeds, and spreadsheets.
3. (Picture of a rack of IT equipment chugging away, churning out emails, spreadsheets, etc.) (branded: “Monster Feeding Station”)
4. As long as the monsters get their data, they are happy and well mannered (for the most part).
5. Day in and day out they sit at their desks and get fed by the IT systems that you have in place within your business.
6. Of course every now and then one of the monsters doesn’t get exactly what he wants and stamps his foot. (doesn’t get what he wants “IT Related”)
7. But, for the most part everything works fine, and all the monsters are happy.
8. Because you don’t want the monsters to revolt, you invest in your IT systems and keep them maintained.
9. (picture of an IT engineer working on the servers) (“Monster Feeding Station Attendant”)
10. But sometimes things don’t always go as planned, and your IT systems stop feeding the monsters the data that they need to be happy.
11. what happens then is that the monsters start tearing your office apart, eating each other, and generally being pretty unhappy.
12. General panic sets into the office while systems are being restored or repaired
13. All the while your monsters are being paid, and all they have to do with their time is be angry and unproductive.
14. Not to mention the monsters outside your business, who are not getting what they need from the monsters inside your business.
15. These guys cause the most damage! While you are not able to service them, they are talking trash about your business! (Intellectual looking monsters talking trash about company)
16. Depending on how good your DR plans are, this period of chaos and calamity may last for minutes, hours, days, or weeks.
17. If you have been paying attention to your IT, you would have done your due diligence and engaged an IT services provider to maintain your IT systems day to day and formalise a DR strategy for just such an occasion.
18. The IT guys and girls come in, restore the broken systems, and the data feed starts working once again.
19. All the monsters start getting fed their much-loved emails, data feeds, and spreadsheets, and they all go back to work.
20. All that is left is to clean up any residual mess, put things back the way they were, and get on with running your business. (IT person with mop going around behind the monsters and cleaning the floor)
21. Now is the time to ask yourself: how long would it take to get YOUR monsters back to work in the event of a disaster? (management thinking to themselves … with cloud-dream-bubble of monsters running amok)
22. If you don’t know, or you DO know and it scares you, call ASI Solutions so we can help make sure your monsters don’t revolt!
23. Insert ASI Solutions logo.

From a design point of view, I would like the monsters to be "cuddly monsters". The images in the link below should be taken as an example.

I haven't decided if we will do the voiceover, or get you to do it, but I am guessing that the voiceover will have an impact on the timing and duration of each of the scenes. This needs to be discussed.

Thanks!

“Duarias did a really fantastic job putting together my animation, and organising a voice over artist as well. He was very easy to work with and was always very quick to complete any task he had. Thanks very much, Duarias, great working with you!”

      Hi Magicrain, do you think you are able to complete the project by the deadline? If you can give me a sample, and I like it, I am happy to extend the deadline.
