Hello,

I need a website developed for a new site that will cater to Brides and Grooms looking for photographers, DJs, Videographers, Florists, Wedding planners etc. The concept of the site is for a bride and groom to place an ad, and vendors bid on their job very similar to Freelance website but only catering to brides and grooms. The site will not hold any funds, but will be by membership and pay-per-ad only.


The site must be able include the following features: (for illustration purposes)

-Able to create users with profiles and preferences
-User uploaded profile photos
-Inbox type communication between users, including "read", "unread", "reply", "block", etc
-Posting board with “reply” or post question area.
-Secure log-in/Log out
-Sort and filter by posting/Date/ending soon/ Price/City/Type of contract
-Rating for vendor, but only by premium users.
-Open and closed bids
- Vendors page, with galleries
-Calendar view of available dates for Users and Contractors
-Number of bids and price display of bids/hide display
-Membership types i.e. Free, premium, etc
-Refer a friend
-Coupon redeem or code for discount
-User customize e-mail notifications.


I have some experience with working with PHP, HTML, MYSQL databases and web design, but I don't feel confident enough to create a website that will be stable, and be able to handle large number of users. Therefore I will be having freelancers design and code the site. I need to start with the look of it first. The logo design has already been awarded and is included as it will have to fit in the overal design of the page and must be included on all designs.

Im looking for a very modern looking site, no images or stock images. It has to be clean with light colours ( no pink please). The buttons and navigation have to be original and have a little bit of depth preferably but I'm open to all designs. There will be a "bid" button on every post. This button has to stand out a bit in order to attract employers for the bride and groom.
